Sharing intelligence that Hrant Dink would be killed
Ramazan Akyürek, when he was Trabzon Provincial Police Chief, reported the information that Yasin Hayal would carry out an attack against Hrant Dink to the Istanbul Police and the Department of Intelligence.

Warning about possible attacks against the Armenian community
Ramazan Akyürek sent a warning letter to the intelligence branches of all provinces when he was the Head of the Department of Intelligence. In the letter, it was requested to carry out intelligence work on groups that might carry out provocative actions against the Armenian community.

Termination of Erhan Tuncel’s informant status
Trabzon Provincial Police Chief Reşat Altay sent a letter to the Department of Intelligence requesting that Erhan Tuncel be removed from the records. Akyürek notified Trabzon Police Department that Tuncel’s registration had been removed.

Arrest process
Prosecutor Gökalp Kökçü requested the arrest of Ramazan Akyürek. Akyürek was arrested by the Istanbul 2nd Criminal Judıcature of Peace on the same day. The objection to the arrest was rejected.
